Rental Property Inventories

Since 2007 the government has made it compulsory for those receiving tenancy deposits in England and Wales to join a safeguard deposit scheme . Where a dispute over allocation of deposit cannot be resolved between parties, referral is made to dispute resolution. An inventory record of the condition of the building at the beginning and end of the tenancy are central to this process.

At CPM we manage this process with our in house building surveyors, who will liaise on your behalf with the letting agent or landlord, providing a totally independent survey report on the property.
