Snagging

A new home is an individual built, hand crafted product. For this reason there will inevitably be some variations in the finished appearance of different elements of the construction. It is for this reason combined with the reduction of the number of qualified tradesmen, due to lack of apprenticeships that snagging becomes an integral part of the house buying process.

Snagging is the inspection and prodiction of a list of defects, recording these and identifying areas of poor quality work to be rectified.
